The Oil Drum’ – An archive of essays on the topic of energy and our future from 2005 through 2013 – As Executive Director of the nonprofit Institute for the Study of Energy and Our Future (ISEOF), Nate leads the organization’s mission to inform and inspire the thinking and actions of early adopters relating to the ongoing transition to post-growth human societies, institutions, and values.

Earth and Humanity: Myth and Reality [3 hours] – Nate’s 13th annual Earth Day presentation shared during the 2021 covid pandemic, covering thirty-three common myths underpinning conversations about the future, including fifteen categories of interventions.
